In my manual on “Online Affiliate Income” Mark Joyner
discusses 4 guidelines to achieve the 3 objectives I mentioned in my previous
blog.
The first is to create a targeted and compelling Title.
I’m not sure if I actually did that since I simply copied the headline that came
with my article. I will go back and see if I can make my headline better based
on the suggestions given in the manual.
The second guideline is to write a seductive introduction.
I’m not sure if I can be very seductive (just ask my wife) much less write
something seductive. I’ll re-read the introduction to the articles and see if I
can make them seductive. It’s a good thing there is an example in the manual
otherwise, I never would be able to figure out what is seductive.
The third guideline deals with the body, which need be only
3 to 5 paragraphs that provide informative details. It says to write it in my
own unique voice. Perhaps I should just talk into a microphone and then
transcribe the results? They suggest going to Amazon.com and reading some
reviews of similar products to get an idea of what others are saying. Great
idea!
Finally, I need to write a concluding paragraph that
mesmerizes my readers to go to my website and buy my product. That seems like a
huge order. When I pull that off, the money will come flowing in like the Nile.
Yes, I agree. This is a lot of work, which is why I like
what is said at the end of this section. “Do the first one or two websites
yourself. Get some money coming in and then hire someone else to do most of the
work after that.”
Tomorrow I will go into part 3 of creating my affiliate
website.
